I am James Dorston late Put 6"H"
84 Regt USLY difautry Volunteers dentisted in ER
of the 12th Regh usbd difantry Volunteer at Port
Hudson, Louisiana in the year of 1863, and was discharged
in the year 1866 at New aleans on muster out of the
84th Regt to which I had been transferred from the
2th Regt US.L. Infantry Volunteers; I was born at
booington, Louisiana, am 38 years of age, 5ft 5/m
inches high, dark complexion, black eyes, bladb hair,
and by occupation at the time of my emollment f
