Dear Sir, I have the honor to inform you
that I received information from the war Department
Washington D. 8. stating that my claim for bounty
would be ready for Settlement on your returning
to duty about the first of November meet
and that also if there was any change in my Post office
Address I should inform you thereof. For my Post office
address is said to be at New Theria La But I hereby
inform you that my Post office address is as above
written Bonnet barre Post office Louisiana
Am therefore I respectfully requested that all information
or Communication touching the Settlement of
the some be addressed to me here at Bonnet barra
J. e. La. And wherefore I have the honor of being
most respectfully your obedient Servant
