in ufferrence to my claim for Founty as mother of Thilip Stewart dec
late of leo H. 73 u. S. E.J, the claim has been allowed long agr but
in some gray or other I have been Rept out of it; sometime in april1815
Suceived a letter from major G.M. Hunto informing me that he grould
Ee in Baton Sougs m the 29th of april 1875 for the perform af pay-
ing me, if he ever came I dio not New him, I raitia patiently for him
and mote on Several occasions to him, finally I uceina 01 letter from him,
Dalia Dec 10" 1875. informing that my letter has been received anouthal-
your his first Visit to diaton Rouge d would to paid, time passia
and not hearing ph or seeing major Hunto dagain mrli to him anoughis
considerable aelay decimed a letter from him informing mr that under in-
structions from the Nan Department the paper m my case new formardian
In that Department for decision, on the course of time deciment a letter
from the Second Auditor informing me that my claim has been ab-
loma and that the Distrucing uffer in new Wiliams it,
