We, 2, Benjamin Hurd and , of parish or county of Warren and State of Mississippi do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of 7 lived on Hunds plantation and an u neighbor of Itham Hund. and have been well acquainted with him for 35 years and years respectively; that he is the identical man that he represents himself to be and 5 Know that he Mr father of Jefferson Hurd now dead who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company C, 66 th Regiment use.,2. , am and that pue are not, jointly or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said Isham Hund has or may have against the United States. this Berjaminkherd Wark Sworn to and subscribed before me this Fifth day of June , 1873 ; and I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit were carefully read by me to the affiants before subscribing their names thereto, and I know the affiants to be credible persons. 1998 Cr, Hunt uscom misso your southern Dirt. of Miss.
