We, John Dalton and George n alley , of parish ar county of Namew and State of do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of Augustus Scott and have been well acquainted with Thin for for 11 years and 10 years respectively; that her is the identical Person that he represents humself to be (we who all members of Same Regiment) who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company G 64 top "Regiment M S had Tronps and that we are not, jointly or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said. augusters Sett has or may have against the United States. Witness John + his Dalton man RW Hows George w.t his alley make Sworn to and subscribed before me this Eleventh day of nevern ber , 1873 ; and I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit were carefully read by me to the affiants before subscribing their names thereto, and I know the affiants to be credible persons.
