Grundbugh - County 24 December 1832 Hon. Lumi bap. kentary at was - Sir Corps of state troops have declared their determination Being informed that many of the Solunter to support the president of the united States in main made in South Carolina to produce desunion J haining the Laws and contitution against the attempts dum it proper to make known the disposition of the Corps I command, on this important sujjet- as Commander of Legion I have to you the services of the troops who come pose that Legion - and I have to ask, that when the portune of offaing may require our and the General Government will order us into Service in such way that we may act affectively- The Corps consuits of Him Companies one this of Cavalry - There Companies of artic try with a Field price to Each- the residue of those Company will armed with muskets and Bagonity- and a Company of Infantry also well armed. The whole consisting of about four hundred mem- I know not that there are any Laws in face which will authorise this offer an the acup hance of it so as to be definite - But I hope our disposition to and & apset may be registered amought the sends of your department, and that her may not be portfoned in the acuptained of the frien in make 1 with grat uspich your MB Alexanders major with Legion
