I have in change a claim osseme 12 or 14000 $
depending before an Com of the Senate. I had suppose
of I had copies I of all the fontracts wanted when, by a letter
received from Bath that morning I was otherwise in

formed in comequence swhich I addreped a line to
expecting myself to go before the bom. which was to
meet on tuesday last 10 06 however a gllorium could
not be universed althe I had written the
letter, I thought by inspution of the Contracts of the office
I might save the trouble of spying only there that
were in point, you happened to about for the
moment richer I was at form room, and my letter
had gone from the Capital I went to the other be
partment offound the originals (the bash of origin having
been laid) there I impected and as it would
take so much time & t rouble to write The copies I
tooh a minute of the dates & gave to the Charman
that if he Thought it important he would send a
written segment to home the originals, which I was
informed would he complio with & this was men
time by me to some who were there to inform
you that this enangement would impercede the ne=
cassity my giving you so much trouble However
