Sir,
Hon Joseph Adams, of Hunting ung County Pa, has
informed me that he is proposing to supply the u. S. Troops
with punisions U.C.
It affords me phasme to state that I am will
acquaintic with Indue Adams He is a greathman of
high character for intigity of intelligence. In Junal
years he was a member of mm State Legislature and
in that ance other public stations has been distinguished
as an attentive and competitive office. To an communt
change he anjoys the confidence and stum y his

relations, he has ana centinues to exect a depres of
