hi,
I am this day honoured th the upt of you letter of the
10th inst. an the subject of the influence ofa certain frien of land, as
a military position, when the plan of defence of the haubrar of Pattand. all
the patus unumerated in you letter came dately to hand.
I uput that the map out nine ders not give any of the
local names, neupany to delumens the position of the land in questia, referent to
in the dud of emerganev pm M Smith to the M. Hates Imper,
however- though it is a mere quep that "Mantjoys mick" is the math-cartera
part of Pattand that Fish point (a the mah) is its eastern up hemity-that
th fist road mentioned in the died is that leading from X T.Y (on the
mak) other the much road, mentiona as hading to "dandy point", is the
road from r to Z- if g am night in this the land in quotia must he
within the angle formed by these two roads; and, if do, it can have no value
