Letter To Louise Elliot From Ray E. Buckingham. Buckingham is asking Elliot any information she might have about Moses Byxbe, who was owner of a Tavern on top of the hill at Washington in the early 1800s. Byxbe moved to Ohio where he was instrumental in founding the county and town of Delaware, OH. Buckingham mentions a 1976 book he wrote about the Byxbes, and he tells a lot of information about the Byxbes in the letter.
