Source Description
George Whipple writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding missionary matters in Jamaica. He writes, "You know well the importance of managing its affairs in such a manner as to secure the favor of God, and deserve the confidence and cooperation of christians." He writes of the Indian missions as well and requests Phelps assistance. He asks for this assistance due to Brother Renshaw's affairs: "bro Renshaw has become not a little disaffected with us because he finds in our paper strong evidence of Antagonism to the A.B."
