Letter from George Thompson, London, [England], to Richard David Webb, 1846 July 21

George Thompson writes to Richard Davis Webb apologizing for not answering his questions regarding the time and place of their intended conference. He has asked the approval of Henry Clarke Wright for he and Garrison to travel a short time before they meet in London. He suggests holding it at his place as he could accomodate "20 to thirty in my rooms, and I scarily expect a larger gathering of friends for purposes of business."
