Letter from Isabella Massie, Bridgewater, [Massachusetts], to Mary Anne Estlin, [1854] Aug[ust] 14-1854 Aug[ust] 16
Isabella Massie writes to Mary Anne Estlin on Aug[ust] 14 [1854] in regards to asking about anti-slavery news and asking about the health of her father. She writes that Miss Weston brought her a sermon preached at Worcester by Higginson. She says her health is prohibiting her from collecting a box of contributions for the anti-slavery bazaar. She is still in arrears for expenses incurred in the past but can take care of them with an unexpected money gift. Isabella Massie writes to Mary Anne Estlin on Aug[ust] 16 1854 in regards to sending her a letter from Alfred because he is unable to do it himself. She would be happy to become a "copyist" for her. She has received a letter from her father about Mr. Pillsbury's visit.
