W.L. Jeffers writes to William Lloyd Garrison discussing the unavailability of his lodgings for next two weeks. He also says he "regret[s] ... the unprincipled course pursued against you here by the London A[nti] S[lavery] Committee." Likely referring to the exclusion of female delegates from the convention floor and Garrison's decision to join them) Jeffers states that "they will regret this unmanly and illiberal spirit against the known tried advocates of the enslaved and oppressed of America." He tells Garrison, "our hearts are with you ever Dear Garrison your ills are ours."
