Letter from Henry Ingersall Bowditch, [Boston, Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1843

Henry Ingersoll Bowditch writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to the articles from Paris. Bowditch believes that his friend Joseph Severny would carry out her wish. He explains that he wrote his recent letter "as merely suggestive of certain sentiments that might influence those who would be abolitionists," and that it was not intended for the public.
