Letter from Calvin Ellis Stowe, Andover, [Massachusetts], to Moses Dresser Phillips, 1856 June 11
Calvin Ellis Stowe writes to Mr. Phillips of Phillips, Sampson and Company in regards to the printers furnishing an average of twelve pages a day. He discusses the title of the work, favoring the title as "Dred." Postscript is written by Harriet Beecher Stowe also favoring the title, Dred. She asks that orders be delivered to Sunny Memories and Mayflower to F.I. Webb.
