Source Description

Oliver Johnson writes William Lloyd Garrison to inform him that he did not return his first letter to Gerrit Smith, and requests that he send it to him promptly, as Samuel J. May and James M'Kim wish to review the correspondence. Johnson states that he wishes to attend the "Abington & Milford celebrations", but will need to see if he can escape his work obligations prior to committing.
