Samuel May Jr. forwards to William Lloyd Garrison some words from J. B. Estlin, who expressed a concern regarding radical content of the Liberator. May asks Garrison to discuss the subject with Estlin, saying that "[o]n some subjects, I think you can quite set him at rest."
