Source Description
After expressing his sympathy to William Lloyd Garrison who had two accidents within a short time period, J. Miller McKim states that their purpose is to “hastening [black men’s] mental and moral elevation” and their task is to raise funds to establish schools in the South. He then mentions a meeting that he attended in Philadelphia in which the voting result favored a certain junction.
