Source Description

In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, George L. Le Row writes about how he obtained the copies of the Emancipator containing Mr. Birney’s letter from Phelps's P.O at Augusta. He distributed them, and is now enclosing the money for them. He discusses the success of Mr. Thompson’s visit to the area. He also mentions that he was dismissed from Waterville College and intends to go to New York.
