"Holograph, signed.",
"Lucia Weston discusses Henry B. Stanton's explanation of why he failed to speak at a meeting in Marlborough Chapel. Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman and Oliver Johnson are editors of the Liberator in William L. Garrison's absence. Mr. Dause of Ohio is going to England to collect money for Oberlin College; he got letters of introduction from the Chapmans and others. Charles Dickens's book, Nicholas Nickleby, is out. Lucia discusses Mrs. Maria W. Chapman and the Parkers' objection to Maria's report of two meetings. Lucia also mentions Maria W. Chapman's [article on] Barnstable; a member of the society; and the interview with Mr. Goodyear from Ashburnham, who is suspected of of belonging to a group opposed to Garrison. Cyrus Moses Burleigh is employed as an agent for the Cradle of Liberty.",
"This letter is written on the fliers (printed matter) addressed to the Senate and House of Representatives to pass laws to exempt men in the Commonwealth from military duty."
