William Lloyd Garrison accepts Joseph Ricketson's invitation to lecture at the New Bedford Lyceum. Henry Clarke Wright will attend the meetings today and tomorrow in New Bedford.
Includes a letter by Francis Jackson Garrison to Mr. Ford, April 10, 1901, regarding the provenance of William Lloyd Garrison's letter. Francis Jackson Garrison writes: "I send copies of three of my father's letters of which the originals are in the hands of Mr. Goodspeed, the bookseller at 5 Park St. who has kindly allowed me to make copies of them. They came to him from a nephew of Joseph Ricketson, to whom they were addressed, and I thought you would like to have them for your files."
