William Lloyd Garrison writes that his baby, Eilizabeth Pease Garrison, died this morning from lung fever. Garrison says: "No strange thing has happened unto us, in view of human mortality---nothing dark or mysterious; yet we feel our bereavement deeply and tenderly." They would like to have Theodore Parker present at the funeral tomorrow afternoon and "to express whatever sentiments the occasion may suggest."
