Letter from Abraham Firth, Clappville, [Mass.], to Samuel May, March 2, 1853

Firth replies to a letter from May inquiring about the availability of the pulpit of Reverend J. F. Burbank for anti-slavery lectures. Firth says that Burbank would refuse the use of his pulpit on the ground that anti-slavery lectures cause dissension.
