Letter from O. P. Bacon, Dorchester, to Amos Augustus Phelps, January 20, 1838

O. P. Bacon writes to Amos A. Phelps that he and Sanford went to Dedham to make an argument for an anti-slavery meeting. After facing some opposition by a few local authority figures, they managed to obtain a large hall for a meeting there.
