Letter from Ebenezer Dawes, Taunton, to Amos Augustus Phelps, July 17. 1833

Ebenezer Dawes writes to Amos A. Phelps that he does not need any compensation for his attendance on Mrs. Phelps during her illness. He says, “her other friends amply repaid [him] for any services rendered in her illness.”
