        "Anne Warren Weston met Minot Thomas, who \"appeared to be quite an Abolitionist & as he is a great Democrat too; of course we joined battle on 3d party.\" Arriving in town, Anne found that Maria Weston Chapman had kept a log during her absence, allowing Anne to report on the principal events in this letter. Mr. John Pierpont is writing a piece called \"Nebuchadnezzar\" for the Liberty Bell. [\"Nebuchadnezzar\" was a poem printed on pp. 58-73 of the Liberty Bell, in the issue for 1844.] Charles Sumner has sent Maria W. Chapman a very good collection of American autographs. There should be a good meeting at Faneuil Hall tonight, with Garrison, Wendell Phillips, Dr. (William Henry?) Channing, and Amasa Walker speaking.",
