On pages one and two, there is a letter from Debora Weston to Anne W. Weston. Debora gives an account of the social contacts she has enjoyed in New Bedford. She wishes Anne to go to New York for the annual meeting, and reminds her that she can use her money. Debora writes that "it will reconcile me very much to staying here to know that somebody is having fun through my means."
On page two, there is a separate letter from Debora Weston to Caroline Weston. Debora instructs Caroline about which gowns and sewing materials to send her.
