Anne Warren Weston describes a meeting of the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society and its accompanying controversy over petitioning. Complains of Mary S. Parker's "folly, intemperance and rudeness." The Society should concentrate its efforts on the city of Boston. Anne had a tooth extracted and "the Dr. almost killed me." She describes her return to Dorchester in the stage at 4 a.m. Sylvia Ammidon is engaged "to Parker's brother." And Maria Mack has a daughter, Eliza. Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman is going to address the Female Anti-Slavery Society in Lynn.
