    "ocrText": "May 25, 1942.\nMiss Lucy Louisa Joaquim\nCorner Road\nBedford, New York.\nMy dear Miss Joaquim:\nNo doubt you have been informed that a new district of the New York\nState Nurses' Association has been formed which covers Westchester County.\nIn order that Red Cross activities, especially those related to the enrollment\nof nurses in the Red Cross Nursing Service, may be more readily promoted it\nhas been deemed advisable to organize a new Local Committee on Red Cross Nurs-\ning Service for that area. This will necessitate the transfer of your record\ncard as a Red Cross nurse from the Manhattan Local Committee to the new\nCommittee which will be known as the Westchester County Local Committee on\nRed. Cross Nursing Service with headquarters at White Plains\nThe newly appointed officers of the Committee are:\nMiss Annie E. Grass, Chairman\nGrasslands Hospital, Valhalla, N. Y.\nMiss Anne H.
