Mrs. Agnes H. Stanfield
80 East Main Street
Middletown, N. Y.
My dear Mrs. Stanfield:
It is delightful to hear from you again and I
certainly wish whenever you are in Washington you would drop
in and see us. It makes no difference even though you are
no longer in active nursing affairs.
I am indeed sorry to hear about your mother.
I hope your second marriage is happy and I judge it is, as
you seem to be very much interested in three step children
and I am sure they keep you exceedingly busy.
Yes, indeed, Miss Noyes death was a horrible
shock to all of us. It is hard for me to realize that it is
now nearly a year ago since she so suddenly left us because
her spirit and her interest in all matters pertaining to Red
Cross nurses and in the Nursing Service still seems to live
with us.
I do hope that I shall have the pleasure of
seeing you at some future time.
Sincerely yours
Ida F. Butler
Director of Nursing
