Dear Mrs. Roosevelt:
I certainly did appreciate most highly your good
letter, enclosing me a copy of one which you had
sent to the Secretary of State. The information
contained in your letter is highly appreciated both
by me and the Secretary.
You must have had a wonderful trip. I noticed
this morning where you have been entertained
by the Roosevelts of Holland, That must have
been an interesting experience.
I hope to see you when you return and have a long
conversation with you on what you saw and the
impression you got as to the situation in Europe
generally.
