Q In view of your speech last night, do you plan to send
Davis back to Geneva in time for the opening of the
Conference?
THE PRESIDENT: I haven't talked to Norman about that for a
couple of weeks. Frankly, I don't know whether it is
definite that they will go on then or adjourn again.
Undoubtedly he will go back just as soon as they are
going to have a regular session.
Q Mr. President, apart from the form of tariff recommended,
how about reciprocal agreements?
THE PRESIDENT: That comes within the form. I cannot tell
you yet.
Q Can you tell us whether you are preparing for it? Mr.
Peek is.
