that you would probably be moving your family and baggage to
Houston shortly.
Marian and I remember entering our life in Midland with you
and Barbara at about the same time. We know that the two of
you and your children regret leaving the wonderful town as
much as Marian and I did. Midland was most unique in that all
friends were true friends. This is a characteristic that you
find is not prevalent in larger cities and SOA we will always look
fondly on our memories of Midland.
Marian and all of us up here wish you and your family improved
personal benefits from Houston and you and your business a very
great success from living there.
Plan to be in Houston the middle of this week and make a call
on your local office. Hope that my good fortune will find you
there at the same time.

The Tulsa Squash Team feels it was fortunate that you were unable to play
in the recent match since we heard you are the leading and toughest player
in West Texas.
When you get settled in Houston perhaps we can work out a Tulsa-Houston
match.
As soon as you move to Houston I expect the Zapata Off-Shore stock to get
back up to about $16, where it belongs.
When you buy a home in Houston, I hope you will phone us collect to bind it
and we will work out the same Package deal, including your furniture and
personal liability, as you have been carrying in Midland. One of the companies
we represent, the Insurance Company of North America, has a special filing
in Texas which saves money and gives the usual broad coverage.

our house in Midland at which time we will all move. If we

school is out in June to Move. After eleven years in West
Texas I am, of course, upset at leaving, but it makes a good
deal of sense from a business point of view. After we get
settled there I will give you a call and perhaps we can in-
troduce our wives to one another.

will both be real nice to Mosby and see if he will
invite us back to that sump hole outside of town.
