NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today acknowledged the retirement of Pat Mehaffy as
Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit
effective today. A biographical sketch is attached.
The President today accepted the resignation of John T. Connor as a member
of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation,
effective today. Mr. Connor was appointed April 17, 1973 for a term expiring
October 26, 1976.
