AUGUST 11, 1975
Pool Report on Return from Golf
Suffice it to say the President has had better days on the golf course.
Shortly before 4 p.m. the Presidential foursome finished up on the
18th green as rain clouds came over the mountain ridges. Your pool
did not see the President as he left the golf course club house but I
talked to Dr. Lukash, one of the President's partners, who compared
the course favorably to the President's usual course at Burning Tree,
Lukash, who shot an 84, would not reveal the President's score
but said the President did not do well on the first three or four holes.
Lukash said the President made up for that on the back nine chipping
three shots on the green.
President waved to the pool from his beige limousine(not baggage car
as identified in an earlier pool report). Ford disappeared inside the
Bass house approximately 4 p.m.
