NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced the appointment of Thomas S. Kleppe,
Secretary of the Interior, to the following positions. They are:
Chairman of the Water Resources Council
Member of the Delaware River Basin
Commission to serve as the Representative
of the United States.
Member of the Susquehanna River Basin Compact
to serve as the Representative of the United States.
The Secretary of the Interior customarily serves in these three positions.
