DORADO BEACH HOTEL POOL REPORT #2 (continued)
Economic Summit Meeting, June 26, 1976. Prime Minister Aldo Moro
arrived by helicopter from Puerto Rico International Airport, touching
down on the improvised helipad between the palms and sand bunkers
of the 18th fairway of the west course of the Dorado Beach Hotel at
3:24 p.m. Moro and his party including Foreign Minister Rumor and
Finance Minister Colombo, weregreeted with a handshake and a few
private words by President Gerald Ford, Treasury Secretary Simon,
and Brent Scowcroft, Assistant to the President of National Security
Affairs. The President escorted Moro to his villa and returned to his
own.
