Ford Presidential Library November 13, 1976 (4 P. ) OFFICE OF THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY (Palm Springs, California) NOTICE TO THE PRESS The President completed 18 holes of golf at about 1 p.m. and remained at the Country Club until about 2:30 p.m. He stopped briefly by the Rancho Mirage Fire Department where he visited and posed for pictures with the firemen. He began a meeting on the budget with Alan Greenspan and Jim Lynn at 3:45 p.m. On Sunday the President will play golf at La Quinta Country Club. He will depart the Residence at 9:15 with tee off expected at 10:00 a.m. In the foursome will be Red Blaik, Ray Kaiser, who is President of the Club, and Leon Parma. He is expected to remain at the Club for lunch. The President will attend an OFF THE RECORD party tonight. There will be a travel pool, but no coverage at the party. The travel pool which will meet in the Lobby of the International at 6 p.m., includes: UPI AP UPI Photo AP Photo New Republic Washington Post CBS Camera Crew (2) CBS Radio technician ABC Correspondent ABC Lighting Technician. = =#= #
