To designate the Federal building and United States courthouse located at 121
West Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana, as the "Lee H. Hamilton Federal
Building and United States Courthouse".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. DESIGNATION.
The Federal building and United States courthouse located
at 121 West Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana, shall be known
and designated as the "Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and
United States Courthouse".
SEC. 2. REFERENCES.
Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper,
or other record of the United States to the Federal building and
United States courthouse referred to in section 1 shall be deemed
to be a reference to the "Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and
United States Courthouse".

H.R. 1583 designates the Federal building and United States courthouse located at
121 West Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana, as the "Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and
United States Courthouse".
Representative Hamilton, a Democrat, served in the U.S. House of Representatives from
1965 until 1999. He served as Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence and the
Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Hamilton currently serves as Director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center
for Scholars in Washington, D.C., and as Director of the Center on Congress at Indiana
University. He is 70 years old.

On October 15, 2001, The President signed into law, H.R. 1583, a bill to
designate the Federal building and United States courthouse located at 121 West
Spring Street in Albany, Indiana, as the Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and
United States Courthouse. The President also signed H.R. 1860, the "Small
Business Technology Transfer Program Reauthorization Act of 2001," which
extends the authority for the Small Business Technology Transfer Program
through fiscal year 2009.

On October 15, 2001, The President signed into law, H.R. 1583, a bill to
designate the Federal Building and United States Courthouse located at 121 West
Spring Street in Albany, Indiana, as the Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and
United States Courthouse. The President also signed H.R. 1860, the "Small
Business Technology Transfer Program Reauthorization Act of 2001," which
extends the authority for the Small Business Technology Transfer Program by
eight years through fiscal year 2009
