As stated in the attached letter from E. E.
Van Horn, the President direct ed me to take up with
you the application of Van Horn and request that you
look him up.
If you find him fisted and there is
a vacancy in the position of supervisor of the Holy
Cross Forest Reserve, the Preside nt would be glad
to have him appointed as he considers him a good man.
