Visit of President Quirino
I told the President of the discussions which
had been had with General Romulo; that he had taken
off on Tuesday and would arrive in Manilla today, and
would communicate with us Friday or Saturday. I said
that we would have a final recommendation on Monday as
to a visit from President Quirino, which, if it occurred,
he would probably wish to have on or about August 1st.
