Dear Miss Jaffini
Mr. Acheson has asked me to drop you
a note and ask whether you are planning, when
you notify the members of the seminar of the
coming Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
and afternoon meetings on July 9, to notify
Mr. Dean Rusk. Since he was not at yesterday's
meeting, Mr. Acheson was not certain that this
would be automatically done, and he is most
anxious to have Mr. Rusk present.
Would you also let me know what the
most convenient way would be to give you an
accounting of Mr. Acheson's and Mr. Fisher's
expenses? Should we do it after each meeting,
or once a month, or at some other interval.
Anything that would suit you best would be
perfectly all right with Mr. Acheson and Mr.
Fisher.
Sincerely yours,
U.S. MECORD3 AND
Secretary to Mr. Acheson.
Miss Roasanna W. Jaffin,
Secretary to the Director,
The Institute for Advanced tudy,
Princeton, New Jersey.
