Dear Miss Jaffin:
I am enclosing a statement of reimbursable
expenses undertaken so far by Messrs. Acheson,
Fisher, Nitze. In the case of Mr. Nitze, I do
not know what expenses he had other than the rail
transportation. Would it be more expeditious for
you to write to him direct and ask him to let you
have that item. His address is: Mr. Paul H. Nitze,
*Whitehall", Bel Alton, Maryland. And I think the
check for transportation could be sent to him direct
also.
Mr. Fisher hopes to come to the meeting this
week - July 15 and 16 - but is not certain. Could
a reservation be made for him and we will let you
know by Wednesday morning if he can make it?
Sincerely yours,
U.S. - AND
SERVICE
st
Secretary to Mr. Acheson.
P.S. Unless you hear to the contrary Mr. Acheson
will arrive on the same train as last week, but
this time at Princeton Junction.
