Dear Mr. Johnson:
I am very sorry to say that I made a mistake
in the date of the next meeting at Princeton in the
memorandum which Mr. Acheson wrote for that meeting.
It should have read #October 10-11 Meetings" in
accordance with the nemorandum of dates sent out
by the Institute for Advanced Study, rather than
"October 9-10 Meetings.
It now seems that Mr. Acheson will not be
able to get from Yale to Princeton on Saturdays
quite so early as he had hoped, but will be coning
down from New Haven and taking a 3:00 p.m. train
from New York, Penn Station, which train arrives
at Princeton Junction at 3:56 p.m. The meeting
will therefore not be able to start promptly at
4:00, but will probably start about 4130 p.n.
Sincerely yours,
S.
