Dear Mr. Weisberg:
The celebration oi a Golden Jubilee is important in the
life of any person o.r institution. It is particularly significant
in the life of an institution such as the Jewish Advocate. Only
a.s American democracy affirmatively welcomes the contributions to
the common welfare from all of its richly diverse constituents can
this Nation preserve its freedoms and exercise its potential world
leadership. In the spirit of this assertion, I warnly congratulate
the Jewisn Advocate on its fiftieth anniversary.
