My dear Mary:
I certainly appreciated your letter of the twenty-
third very much and glad that everything is going
all right.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to old man Budd.
He never was any good for himself or anybody else.
I
am looking into Mrs. Wolfarths son's situation.
I don't know wheth r there is anything we can do
for him or not because these young men have to take
their turn in order and no special privileges have
been extended to them by me, or anybody else, that
I know of and, if I find out anybody is getting
special treatment, it is going to be too bad for
the "treater" I am returning Mrs. Wolfarth's letter
to you.
I' 11 be looking forward to seeing you at Fulton.
