1. FUEL: The :llowance of fuel is given in General
orders #117, HAEF , 1918, as emended by Gon ral Order 210,
P ge 4, HAEF. 1918.
In order that the necessary amount can be secured,
organizations will keep the Division Quartermaster advised
of the amount required to supply their allowance. The
Division Quartermester is prepared to supply the full allow-
ance of fuel in either coal or wood, Organizations in sub-
mitting requesta for fuel will specify the amount of each that
they require.
2. Requisitions will be submitted by regimental and
separate unit commanders for the number of text books and
phamphlets listed in 'Extract from Program of Training for
Divisions" required for the proper conduct of officers and
non-commissioneo officers schools. These requisitions will
be expedited in order that c consolidated requisition for
the Division may be promptly forwarded.
3. Recommendations for the transfer of surplus non-
commissioned officers in compliance with Goneral Orders #228,
G.H.a. A.E.F. 1918, will be made to these hoadquarters.
Reports will also be submitted showing the number of vacancies
existing in each non-commissioned grade
Organization commanders are directed to submit these
reports without delay.
