TO All Organisation Commaniers.
1. Attention is invited to Training Mesce andur, llo. 5, Hdgrs.
9th Army Corps, without date, on the Care of Animals, also to Adminis-
trative Bulletin No 5B Hors. 9th Arny Corpa, January 7, 1919, Par. VI
on the Care of Animals.
8.Attention in furthermore invited to the Fiold Artillery Drill
Regulations on the Care of Animale, which will be strictly complied with.
3. On several occassions it has been noticed that on four mule
teams, two drivero were driving the temm, one driver driving the lead,
and ono driver driving the wheel. This praction will be discontinued and
drivers will be instructed in handling their teams.
4. The practice of men in all organizations, in driving their
teara into the witer up to their bellies will be discontinued.
5. Stable orderlies will hereafter be permanent details and not
change daily. It 1a desirable to have a ran working with the stable ser-
geant, who knows animala and will in time, become thoroughly familiar with
the rations that different animals require/.
