The following telegram Irom the Chicf, Postal Express
Service is quoted for the information of all concerned and for
the necessary action:
TIN one hundred. Many Christmas packages have arrived in
France for Isoldiers who have been transferred to other units
Sinco sending home their Christmas coupons. These packages will
require re-direction to reach the prosent address of the soldiers.
In order to oxpedite their delivery it is requested you have
lists prepared by each company of the men in your division th o
have not received their Christmas parcels due to changes in
address. These lists hould include) only the names of men trans-
forred to your division Since sending home a Christmas coupon and
Should bear the full name of the soldier, prosent correct aldress
including division, regiment and company The former address
as given on the coupon now on the Christmas parcel should be
addressed to aid in identificetion Completion of these lists
they should bo dispatched through divisional headquarters to
central post offico, Bourges, Dopartment of Oher. Divicional postal
offices should effect dolivery oi parcels for .such - transfers as
have occured within your division.

Hoodquarters without unnecessary delay.
Attention of cll officers preparing charges against en-
listed mon for having contractod venereal discase is called to the
fact that the spocification must allege in esch instance that the
discase was contracted 11 while in the military service of the
United Statos" othorwise, the specification doos not show a mil-
itary offense. The approximate dete and placo should also appe.
togother with the diagnosis of the case, for "gonorrhea"
"syphilis" , otc.
